HRBOT-33 works at Mat’s company as a Human Resources Specialist. It is completely unqualified for the job, lacking the empathy and people skills needed to interact with its human co-workers. Its software is always being updated, which makes its behavior extremely unpredictable.

About the Comic Strip

Mat is a copywriter who has been stuck in a dead-end job at a faceless corporate conglomerate for over two decades.

Despite his best efforts, Mat always seems to find himself in ridiculous situations at work, such as dealing with incompetent managers, greedy and immoral executives, absurd cost-cutting measures, and a robot that runs HR.

However, Mat's struggles are not limited to his work. He has recently separated from his spouse, is parenting his two precocious children, is living in a dilapidated basement apartment, and is dealing with a hostile roommate.

And if that wasn't enough, he's also navigating the daunting world of dating after a long-term marriage.
